GOOD DAY FILLIES AND GENTLECOATS

Did you miss us? I hope you guys still remember MLPnline exists, and to all new people to the community, cheerio and all that.

In case some of you have not heard, MLPnline was originally conceived as a fan made MMO game world system, similar to another  fan game that has been in development known as Legends of Equestria, in face those guys just had a server test recently and are chugging along, so go give them a look: [link]

Our team on the other hand, has since decided that we will be presenting to the community a Single Player campaign to set up and establish the overall game world and possible back-story before multiplayer aspects and issues of social networking comes in. The single player campaign is set to a familiar Role Playing Game aspect, as well as original content, enemies, and locales that will hopefully live up to expectations set within the canon of the show.

This campaign will be set up into 6 Chapters, and Chapter 1 is now officially released. Some of you may have remembered a very bare bones beta we put out after Bronycon this year.

**Much has changed**

Here is a list of important changes I want to highlight:

Overworld Changelog:
-User Interfaces in the game have been redone and made much more intuitive and user friendly.
-Previous parts of the system like Talents, Equipment, and Stat Increases are fully implemented
-Also implemented are the finalized Journal System and Beastiary. Crafting and Recipes will be in Chapter 2.
-NPCs have been increased, and the Quest System for various NPCs are now active
-Tutorial at the start of the game to better learn the systems
-Lighting for 3D platforming areas have been updated.

Combat Changelog:
-Our combat as a turn based combat system reminiscent to old school RPGs has been updated
-New User Interface
-More Skills to play around with
-More detailed and new backgrounds
-WE HAVE KILLED ALL THE BUGS (according to Salty Justice, we’ll just have to see wont we )

Story Changelog:
-We have added more cutscenes
-Cutscenes are now smooth; trasitions have been improved
-Dialogue systems and portraits have been increased and streamlined
-Intro and Outros to give the narrative an immersive flow; special thanks to our two spotlight artists: Minibot and AsassinMonkey, both whom are on Deviantart.

AND THAT’S IT FOR NOW. Hope I got most of it. People who have been following our many updates since Bronycon will know how things have changed and improved. As for guys new to our game, we’ll you’re in for a treat. Sure theres an official game coming up on the IPAD, but do give ours, a fan made game created entirely by a group of volunteers and enthusiasts a look.

More importantly, have a look at what the brony community can come up with.
